In October 2019, we launched our series of proprietary events focused on the sport, a theme and practice present at Engemon since its foundation.

Our debut was with the 1st Engemon Golf Open, at São Fernando Golf Club.

At the event, besides workshops for beginners and matches for the more experienced, we also had the announcement of the new executive José Fortes, who has taken over the entire operation of Engemon 360, our civil construction business unit.

Mr. Fortes has over 40 years of experience in the engineering market in national and international companies, and has worked on large projects, such as commercial and hospital buildings, real estate, shopping centers, subway stations (SP), road works, macro-drainage with channeling and reservoirs for controlling urban flooding, among others. In international performance in Panama, Zé, as he is affectionately called in the market, managed a 300MU$ enterprise consisting of 02CHP’s of 30MW, a UHE of 90MW, and 10Km of ducting for the three units.

The event also received distinguished guests, such as the sports journalist Mauro Naves, besides customers and partners. This initiative facilitated corporate relationships and the exchange of experiences among the entire engineering chain that was at the event and all of this against the backdrop of golf, a sport that is gaining more and more followers.
